Folks, this is complete craziness. Sean and I sat down and talked for a bit last night, and we may be pushing the wedding up a year to two years. It may be October 2005, it may be October 2006. Since we are still in major process of finding an apartment, I would prefer October 2006. Since our anniversary falls on a Saturday of that year, it would be perfect! Just a head up! I'm at work, my last day before I get two days off, so more dress and invitation and cake ideas are coming!

NOTE: Sometime this morning/afternoon I will be going back through my entries and combining all dress posts to make them simpler to look at, and I will be adding a lot of posts to the memories for easier access, since I am sure this journal is going to end up being huge.</b>

Been a very long time.. Oct. 2nd, 2004 @ 07:15 am
If anyone out there knows me personally, they know I don't stay in one place forever. I love to change and I love to move around, and this year is no different. Sean and I needed a change of pace, and we needed to do something different. We both quit our jobs as Assistant Managers at each of our stores, and we both applied at my old job, RCN. We are both CSR (customer service representatives) there now, and we are making a bit more money than we were at Leslies. Hopefully things will get back on track, we both seem happier, and we want to get out and get an apartment. Hoping, hoping.

More info coming up soon on planning and such things. My schedule starts at 6:00am EST, which is very boring for a few hours, so I frequest www.ultimatewedding.com.

OFFICIAL: Wedding date is October 14, 2007.. Mark the calendars people.

Sean and I spoke to my mother and father - who have agreed to help us pay for the wedding! I honestly did not think my parents would warm up to the idea, but they are being very helpful, supportive and knowledgable. Then again, they were married at 18. Anyhow.. we have a guest list of 175 people - that includes both of our families and a few select friends. We plan on having the ceremony in Plymouth at my church, and the reception at the Courtdale fire hall, which is amazing. So much to plan, only 2.75 years to do so. ;)

So, Cassie and I went for lunch and ended up not talking much about the wedding plans. I knew it would happen ;) Anyways.. Sean and I spoke last night and we may do a simple wedding now, and then when our five year anniversary or ten year or whenever we have money for a dream wedding comes around, we will renew our vows and do it the way we want. And I think we've concluded that October is the month for the wedding. And in 2007 October 14 falls on a Sunday which is good.

I've been thinking since Sean and I spoke about the date this afternoon. If we can swing it financially and all, it will hopefully end up being earlier than 2009. I don't want to wait and he knows it! Secondly.. when I think financially, the colder months are usually much more on the cheap side than a summer or early spring wedding. Unfortunately all the dresses I like are sleeveless, which would make me freeze my ass off. So here are my options.. Since I don't want to pay for stuff I don't need, I'll make my own poll.. post your suggestions and reasons why in the comments. Thanks!

Month to get married:
March
June
August
October
December</font>

Thanks,
Megan and Sean
